Full Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and professional Bar Manager to join our team at The Bonnie Badger.

This is a full-time position, working 45 hours over 4 days., Working within a 5-star restaurant with rooms, you will be responsible for managing the beverage operation. As a guest face of the hotel, you will be passionate about providing excellent guest service and shall manage your team to ensure the same high levels are always met. You will be responsible for team training, stock rotation/control/orders, cash handling procedures, rota management, and building strong relationships with the Front of House, Reception and Kitchen teams. You will assist with any 'Duty' activities such as day-to-day administration, handling queries and bookings, and taking responsibility for the hotel.

  • Has a background of leading a team in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possesses knowledge of Scottish Licensing Laws.

  • Shows a willingness to learn and teach with an ambitious can-do attitude.

  • Has an acute attention to detail and can operate in an organised manner.

  • Communicates effectively and maintains a positive approach to all tasks and situations.

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for world class food, drink, and warm hospitality.

  • Is adaptable and able to work on their own and as part of a supportive team.

  • Is flexible towards shifts patterns (weekends and evenings are essential).

  • Displays pride in their work and strives to meet high standards at all times.
