Full Job Description

As a Night Porter you will work 40 hours per week, including weekends & split shifts with an hourly rate of 13.25 - Regardless of age!

Being a Night Porter:

As a Night Porter will be to be a point of contact during the night and between the hours of 23:00pm to 07:00am. You will be responsible for making sure the Hotel is secure during the night and any guest issues are handled promptly. Should a rare emergency occur, you will need to put your training into action by following the hotel polices and alerting the relevant people.

You will regularly walk the Hotel and be responsible for cleaning within the public areas.

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Happy to lone work

  • Comfortable being in charge of a building during the night

  • Ability to understand process and put them in to practice in an emergency


  • Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry
