Full Job Description

Responsible for developing relationships with, and providing guidance and knowledge to the on-site maintenance staff whilst liaising with the Property Services Manager to achieve attractive yet easy to maintain grounds.

Duties Include

  • You will be working 'hands-on' to provide a high class horticultural environment for our residents and be responsible for working closely with colleagues

  • Report any incidents relating to buildings, health and safety or equipment

  • Liaising with Property Services Manager on the requirements of each site, and the associated costs and plants/products required

  • Providing relevant content/instructions to share with on-site maintenance operatives and to support and mentor these colleagues ensure suitable levels of horticultural knowledge

    Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Previous horticultural experience required, with relevant qualification(s) highly desirable

  • Full Driving Licence

  • You must be able to demonstrate a passion for gardening and be willing to work outside in all aspects of weather

  • Adaptability to meet expectations of daily changing requirements

  • Experience of budgetary control and financial planning for future site projects
