Full Job Description

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern is Monday-Friday 08.30-16.30 (37.5 hours).

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Renfrewshire HSCPs Head Quarters Administration function for a dynamic, self-motivated Senior Secretarial Administrator to provide a quality secretarial and administrative service to the HSCPs Senior Management Team.

This support will include acting as a first point of contact for Head(s) of Service, dealing with telephone and face-to-face enquiries from a range of internal and external sources and undertaking a range of administrative and secretarial duties, including extensive diary and inbox management, typing and drafting of complex reports and correspondence, letters and minutes, as well as entering of data onto various IT systems and supporting the logging and progress chasing of outstanding actions etc.

The post holder will also support ad hoc and topic based work as identified by the Business Support Manager.

Experience of working within the public sector in a similar busy and challenging environment would be advantageous.

Pattern of hybrid approach split between office base and remote working to be discussed at interview.
