Job Description

The Tooling Leader will lead the life cycle management process of the OEM tools and Cal Alternative Tooling that is used in the Disassembly, Inspection, Repair and Assembly of engine hardware. They will lead a team that supports procurement, modification, maintenance and repair of the tooling at the site.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

• Ensure any tooling related safety issues are addressed.


• Ensure tooling at the site is compliant to OEM documentation.


• Develop and lead the tooling life cycle process at the site.


• Able to understand and interpret technical requirements from OEM documentation.


• Lead the Tooling Life Cycle team.


• Lead the continuous improvement of tooling in use at the site.


• Be a critical part of the Load and Capacity process.


• Be an advocate of FLIGHT DECK.


Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


• Ability to lead and motivate others within a team environment.


• Proficient in the use of design tools such as CAD.


• Demonstrate ability as a change agent and of influencing skills.


• Impactful communicator from the shop floor to board room.


• Results orientated and record of achieving high performance objectives.
