We are a family-run self catering holiday accommodation in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. Our privately-owned wooden holiday lodges, cabins and cottage are nestled in the quiet countryside of Dalbeattie. We are looking to expand our team by onboarding a confident and keen apprentice – it could be you!

In this role, your main responsibilities will be to:

Manage bookings on Super Control. You will become a super-user on this system through opening up bookings, checking the details, liaising with other departments to ensure rotas match up and communicating any customer needs.
Link information from Super Control CRM to Airbnb and other websites.
Understand and navigate our finance software, Xero, by uploading invoices and saving appropriately.
Take bookings over the phone and by computer, having great product knowledge to answer any customer queries.
Complete spreadsheets on Numbers to track information on each individual lodge, updating information on crib sheets.
Track list of facilities management such as purchasing costs for cleaning materials for lodges via Numbers spreadsheet, comparing this information to streamline and reduce costs.
Use Canva to create signs for customer information.

Additional Information:

Salary: £12,313.60 - £14,000 per annum
Working hours: 8.45am - 5.15pm, Mon -Thurs (32 hours) then progress to 5 days

Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work. They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
