One of the largest and most diverse building contractors in the UK is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor. Our client has a superb track record of successful and ambitious projects and continues to progress its growth.
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. Ideally you will be or have worked for on large construction projects for a main contractor, you maybe an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for the next step in your career.
Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will carry out the following duties:
- Submit accurate, detailed payment applications to ensure payment is received before the monthly cash cut off dates.
- Prepare interim and final account submissions and have these submitted following approval by the Senior QS
- Identify area of overspend and waste on the project
- Provide up to date information to ensure accuracy of forecasting final margin
