Client Side Developer (web)

We currently have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic team player to strengthen our in-house development team. This is a new role, our workload is increasing so the team needs to expand.
To apply, your passion and grounding will be firmly placed online and in particular the user experience and interaction of sites. You will work closely with Graphic Designers and Server Side Developers to produce lean, well-structured, interactive websites and other interactive elements using the latest technologies available. You will actively participate in the layout and styling strategy for our sites and you will also enjoy keeping up to date with emerging platforms and latest technologies.
In addition an in-depth understanding of client side development processes and cross platform issues, you'll possess a sound working knowledge of (x)HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX and Flash with Actionscript. You will also be familiar with all relevant W3C standards and a knowledge of Perl or PHP would be an advantage.
Appropriate education and qualifications are desirable but not essential, more important will be your attitude, aptitude and a strong desire to learn along with a willingness to work within a commercially-focussed organisation. You will have the ability to work alone or in a team and be able to self-motivate.
