Kilmarnock College is set in the heart of East Ayrshire and is a College committed to working with learners, communities and businesses. With a staff of 400, of which over half are teaching staff, it has an annual revenue of £13m and activity of 53,000 SUMS. There are 2000 full time and 5000 part time students.
Over the 50 years that the College has existed, it has helped hundreds if not thousands of students fulful their dreams, whether it is a career change, a stepping stone to University or gaining employment for the first time.

The Principal, with the support of the Board of Management,is approaching these challenges with vigour and imagination, but he needs talented professionals to join his executive team to make things happen. As Director of Finance, you will have direct responsibility for the financial estates, ICT/MIS and physical resources of the College.
You will work closley and collaboratively with the Principal and senior management team in the formulation, development and implementation of the College's strategic and operational plane. You will be responsible for setting and monitoring budgets and the financial health of the organisation and for developing a greater understanding of budgetry and financial responsibility amongst Assistant Principals Curriculum and Curriculum Managers.
Educated to degree level, you will have full membership of a professional accountancy body.
You must also have significant experience in a senior financial post in the public/private sector and have excellent Board level communication skills. Experience of estates or facilities management and working within an educational environment would be desirable.
