One of our clients, a leading company in the business services industry are currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger for their accounts department. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Finance Manager. It's important that the candidate has a good working knowledge of purchase ledger.
Main Duties:
Processing high volume purchase ledger Invoices
Dealing with purchase ledger queries / authorisations
Following up any discrepancies on invoices
To ensure invoices match to corresponding orders
To post all invoices in an accurate and timely manner into the system
To raise and post manual cheques as required
Checking and reconciling all suppliers statements
The candidate must have good attention to detail, be self motivated, team player, must have good numerative skills and excellent analytical skills. The candidate will be working within a small accounts team, previous experience will be necessary in order to fulfil the needs of this role.
