The role will involve working as part of a growing team producing work for the power and energy industries. Work will involve engineering design/advice and may include the following:
·liaising with clients and managing projects
·feasibility and conceptual design studies
·site survey and inspection activities
·analysis and design
·specification writing
·trouble shooting and problem-solving
·technical/commercial due-diligence advice
Essential:
·Degree qualified in Electrical, Electronic or Control and Instrumentation Engineering
·A sufficient and appropriate level of relevant industrial experience
·UK security clearance - Due to the nature of work undertaken candidates will need to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance .
Desirable Experience:
·Chartered or working towards Chartered status
·Previous experience in the nuclear or power generation industry
·Experience of working within a safety-related environment
·Previous experience gained within a consultancy/commercial environment
·Knowledge of the project, safety, IECD 61508, safety case, integrity targets and functional safety
