Our client is a growing IT Company based in Midlothian is looking for an experienced finance assistant/purchase ledger clerk
The main duties of the role will be as follows:
• Purchase Ledger Administration (from Purchase Order generation through to Invoice input / matching, including liaison with originators along with associated record keeping)
• Sales Order Administration / Input - Input of quotations, adjustment as necessary, conversion to "live" orders on confirmation. Maintenance of "commercial files". Liaison with Sales & Engineering
• Project Setup - Input of estimates, adjustment as necessary, conversion to "live" projects on confirmation. Liaison with Sales & Engineering.
• General Finance Administration
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
• HND or similar in Accountancy
• IT literate with the ability to learn new packages
• Diligent
• Strong communication skills - establishing and maintaining good professional relationships both within the organisation and externally
• Ability to work in a team (both immediate and extended) environment
• Ability to adapt to established processes and systems
• Experience of working to deadlines in a well organised and methodical manner
• At least one year experience in a Finance role
