Conveniently located in Glasgow city centre, this growing financial services organisation has a vacancy for an Assistant Accountant.
Reporting to the Company Accountant and Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be offered a rare opportunity to gain further exposure to a wide range of valuable accounting duties in a fast moving environment. Key responsibilities will include annual budget preparation, monthly preparation of financial and management accounts to tight deadlines, assisting with the annual audit and processing a small payroll.

Ideal candidates will display a proven ability to take the general ledger to trial balance and beyond. Preferably educated to degree level, candidates will have a confident and professional approach to employment, and a burning desire to build upon their current practical experience with further professional studies.
