An excellent opportunity to join an extremely well-established and professional Property Management company in their expanding Factoring team in Edinburgh.  This role is to proactively manage, oversee and develop a portfolio of residential properties within the Managed Development department and reporting to a Senior Property Manager. Fundamental to the role is to provide a cost effective, efficient, customer focused finance controlled service at personal and team level.  Attention to detail is critical.
 
Tasks for the role:
· proactively manage the portfolio as a complete business unit
· proactively set up regular site inspections
· proactively manage development budget and where appropriate advise and seek instruction from Owners Associations
· where appropriate set up sinking (fabric) fund
· work closely with colleagues to ensure standardisation of service:
  - letter templates
  - billings
  - arrears

Person profile:
· strong ability to manage relationships at all levels - staff, owners, tenants,  contractors, directors etc
· able to work on own initiative without constant supervision
· be acutely observant to see and deal with the needs of the Managed Development department and capable of acting on own authority without instruction but within previously clearly defined parameters
· a team player able to deputise for colleagues if required
· of necessity a detail person
· be organised and thorough in all tasks with a specific emphasis on time management
· be a person of integrity - above office politics and willing to seek the overall good of the department and the company
· be personally committed to continuous improvement of him/herself and his/her business environment
