The largest independent fuel oil & lubricant distributor in Scotland are currently looking to recruit a Part Qualified Assistant Management accountant to work in their already established within the Finance Department in their head office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop their professional career.

The main duties of the role are;
- Assist with the production of the management accounts pack by depot and consolidation by area.
- Identify and analysis of variances to budget and identify potential corrective action.
- Daily, weekly and monthly inventory, margin and overhead variance analysis and correction.
- Working closely with Sales, Operations and Transport as part of the appropriate team.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the reported profit is correct.

The successful candidate will possess;
- Excellent personal and communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel.
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA.
- Previous experience within an accounting environment.
