Graduate Management Accountant

An established manufacturing organisation are currently looking for a Graduate Management Accountant to join their finance team.

The Role

The company is looking for a graduate to work within their Finance Department in a Management Accountant role, with responsibility for stock management and to assist in business process changes.

The role will expand with the experience of the individual. Support will be given to the successful candidate to qualify for CIMA or ACA.

On the job training and support is available.

The successful candidate should have the ability and the ambition to lead the finance department team within 5 years.

The Successful candidate will be required to do the following:

Have an excellent understanding of the Companies Products, and be able to establish costs for new products and Bills of material for the business system.
Perform stock-takes quarterly, liaising with factory managers and external auditors where appropriate.
Ensuring that stock at remote locations is effectively controlled.
Carry out detailed reviews where stocks have gone out of control.
Maintain accurate and up to date stocks on the business system to allow MRP, MPS and production planning to be carried out effectively
Actioning and assisting changes to the business system to improve process in particular those relating to stock WIP and costings.
