Kshocolat is a dynamic and fast growing premium chocolate brand, formed in Glasgow in 2003.  Its contemporary products are sold throughout the UK as well as in 22 other countries around the globe.  The company has enjoyed exceptional growth in a highly competitive marketplace over the past 2 years.  2008 is a pivotal year for the company as it launches a strong web based direct to consumer operation and a significant corporate gifting business, as well as moving to new larger premises in the summer

 

With such ambitious plans we are looking for a talented and energetic Operations Assistant to join us and be part of our small but entrepreneurial team.

 

Key roles & responsibilities:

·          Assist Head of Operations with logistical and production planning

·          Maintain stock management and planning tools

·          Supply chain management of component purchases

·          Ensure smooth process from order placement to fullfillment

·          Co-ordinate and manage deliveries to UK and European customers

·          Co-ordinate and manage collections from suppliers and deliveries to our warehouse

·          Control US based logistical operation to ensure availability of stock and order fulfillment

·          Assist with export compliance

·          Monitor and update customers EDI systems

·          Liase with internal Sales and warehouse teams to ensure good customer service delivered at all times

 

 

Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with strong literacy and numeracy ability. Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages would be beneficial. You must be organised, demonstrate good attention to detail and be adaptable to work both under your own initiative with minimal supervision and also as part of a team when required.

While not essential, experience of working in a logistics/warehousing environment would be an advantage.
