THE ROLE Project Surveyor
Location: Central Belt
Salary:Negotiable

Reporting to:Managing Surveyor

FPSG are currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor to join a leading Scottish Based Construction Company. The vacancy has arisen due to the volume of projects that our client is currently working on. You will take on responsibility for all financial aspects of the Project through to producing final accounts, and be required to work on your own initiative on site and as part of the commercial team.

Our client is a leading name in the national construction industry and deals mainly in the new build of schools, hospitals and commercial properties. They also deal with new build housing and have a strong civil division.

Educated to a minimum of degree level, you will have a solid grounding in the basic principles of the role, and ideally a minimum of 3 years experience in a contracting environment. Having a track record of working on projects of varying value, the scope of works you will be involved with spans General Build, Design and Build and PFI. You will have a solid track record of bringing jobs in on budget and will have the communication and drive to liaise and control not only your direct reports but also sub-contractors and clients alike.
