New housing development and a broad mix of regeneration projects are at the heart of Linkwide's plans for continued growth throughout Scotland. To help us meet a challenging Business Plan we have opportunities at our Falkirk base:
Placement on salary bands will be dependent on skills and experience Working closely with our Development & Regeneration team, you'll lead on energy and sustainability to deliver a wide range of projects and initiatives. You'll develop projects, monitor outcomes and ensure their successful incorporation in our future construction programmes.
An understanding of renewable energy, it's contemporary technologies and application is essential, along with experience of environmental impact assessments. Your knowledge and skills will ensure that all our new homes meet the low carbon/energy efficiency standards required by the Scottish Government.
With a minimum of three years' in the housing construction sector including two years' in project development and delivery, you'll have a knowledge of building technology and up to date regulations.
A Diploma/HND or equivalent in a construction or engineering related field is desirable. Interviews will be held on Friday 13 June 2008. Excellent communication and PC skills are essential for both posts, along with the ability to work well as part of a team. Hours are 35 per week within a flexible working system.
