Our client, a well known financial organisation, is seeking a senior marketing consultant for their Edinburgh office.
Responsibilities:
* Identify the marketing requirements for the advisers and customer of their agreed distribution partners.
* Create and maintain long, term mutually beneficial relationships with the distribution channels, their advisors and the company.
* Ongoing assessment of relevant distribution channels and the relevant marketing communications requirements of all client segments.
* Initiate, develop, and manage implementation of recommendations made on campaigns to achieve business and marketing objectives.
* Communicate and promote marketing activity to key internal partner stakeholders including the development team, sales distribution, business units and customer service.
* Leading and co-ordinating project teams as required.
* Delivery of tactical brand supporting marketing communication activity as per agreed strategy marketing communications plan within agreed timescales.
* Define a comprehensive marketing strategy for the distribution channels.
* Initiate, build and maximise close working relationships with all key direct and indirect business customers and suppliers.
Essential:
* Proven marketing experience in financial services and/or a business to business contact centre environment. Strong project management and planning skills.
* Working knowledge of the communications mix as it applies in different distribution channels.
* Excellent Customer Focus, both internally and externally.
* Awareness of consumer buying habits and the UK financial services distribution landscape.
* Experience of leading and participating in cross functional teams.
* Proven track record in a marketing and relationship management role, more recently in a senior marketing role.
* Strong business to business to customer marketing experience and skills.
Desirable:
* Professional marketing qualification eg. IDM or CIM.
* Experience of Marketing in a banking or similar environment.
