Our client is urgently looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role will involve ensuring that supplier invoices are processed accurately and on a timely basis, resolving queries and maintaining up to date systems.

The main duties will involve processing invoices on a daily basis, understanding different invoice types, dealing with supplier queries, liaising with internal and external staff regarding invoice queries, completing supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring month end deadlines are met and keeping filing up to date.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal along with strong problem solving skills are essential for this position.  A good working knowledge of MS Excel and Oracle are also required.
