Our client is a market leading world renowned blue chip organisation and recognisable household brand name. Their high profile business directory is the biggest start up directory in the world ever. They have had huge success assisted with a radio/TV ad campaign making it instantly recognisable to their business customers. In 5 years they have created a current turnover of £100M+, with 3000 daily orders across 170 local directories. With strong  annual growth and further plans to expand their product offering, this has lead to an expanding sales force, internal promotions and genuine career opportunities for all involved.  

The Role

You will be responsible for selling advertising space to new and existing business customers within a specified geographical area in Scotland.  This will involve generating new business via one day telemarketing from pre determined sales data. Thereafter you will spend 4 days out on the road meeting with the decision makers face to face from all types of business from SME to Corporate companies.  This is a structured sale where you will identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative advertising solutions tailored to the client to ensure results.

The Candidate

Ideally you will have a proven track record of field sales from any business to business or business to consumer sector (i.e. advertising, washroom products,  home improvements, capital equipment office furniture, office supplies, franking machines, IT equipment, IT products, training, telecoms, financial products, digital print services or a background in recruitment consultancy etc).  You will be smart, enthusiastic and confident with a track record of new business success. You will have the ability to work in a highly competitive, fast paced and demanding environment.   

The Package

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a genuine market leader at an exciting stage of their growth. All recruits will go through structured 2 week residential product and sales training course that is second to none. After this you will be given continued support through a “buddy scheme” and further down the line opportunities of development programmes and genuine future career opportunities for the right candidate. Basic £24K + uncapped bonus (realistic OTE £34K, with top earners earning in excess of £50K) + car + mobile + broadband + 27.5 days holiday + pension scheme + benefits + options plan
