The Scottish Human Rights Commission (SHRC) was established under the Scottish Commission for Human Rights Act 2006. The SHRC will promote widespread awareness, understanding of and respect for human rights in Scotland; review and recommend changes to policies and practices of Scottish public authorities; provide advice, guidance, research, education and training; publish or disseminate information or ideas; conduct inquiries, lay reports before Parliament and with the leave of or at the invitation of the court, intervene in court proceedings to make relevant submissions.
The SHRC will be based in Glasgow, will have a presence in Edinburgh and has the following initial posts to fill:

Successful candidates will normally start at the minimum of the range shown for each role. However, a higher salary may be awarded if you have skills and knowledge that are particularly relevant to the post and beyond the published minimum.
