Cyrenians is an award winning charity – in its 40th year – dedicated to enabling people facing tough lives to improve their situation and move to a better future. The charity currently helps over 1,000 people a year to achieve practical and quality of life outcomes; such as better housing, employment, improved health & well-being, re-engagement with family & friends and community involvement. As well as helping individuals, Cyrenians try to influence the causes of exclusion and are very active in shaping laws, policies and attitudes.
We are about to launch an exciting new service in Falkirk and are seeking a team of 2 highly motivated individuals to help us reach our own potential!
People with Potential Key Worker
Full-time (37 hours) Ref: PWP01, Part time (18 hours) Ref: PWP02. Falkirk Based.
Salary: £18,266 - £21,048 (pro rata for part time post).
The People with Potential service offers a range of interventions and key work support to people moving towards employment, training and education. Our development opportunities help people turn their lives round through progression into education, training, a settled working lifestyle and secure employment.
The Key workers will work predominantly with young people, individually and in groups, to engage and support them in this service. The successful candidate will have experience of, and an enthusiasm for, working with vulnerable people as well as a proven track record in support provision.
