Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience within an accounts department?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a market leading organisation in the Falkirk area.

Duties:

  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices and credit
  • Checking recording and clearing of payments
  • Submitting invoice and credit for approval
  • Responding to supplier queries relation to payments sent
  • Create supplier accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Maintaining invoices and purchase orders
  • Batching and coding invoices
  • Dealing with any invoice discrepancies
  • General office duties

The ideal candidate will have excellent numeric skills, good attention to detail, the ability to prioritise workload and a pleasant telephone manner. Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel is essential.

Purchase ledger or accounts experience would be an advantage.
