Bus MechanicFalkirk (Town)   £16000 - £23000 per annum + Benefits

We are currently recruiting Bus Mechanics to work on a fleet of Modern Vehicles with an Average age of 7 years. These positions are based within a large transport company who have depots all over Scotland. Some benefits are achieved after specific number of months service. Free life insurance and travel on buses are granted immediately. We are looking for candidates who are interested in a long term career and are committed to working flexibly to meet the needs of the business.

The purpose of this position is to maintain vehicles to the standard required by TFL and VOSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a safe manner as stated in current legislation policies and procedures. You will on a day to day basis undertake inspections, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of vehicles.

The main responsibilities for this role will include:

Routine Inspection/maintenance of Company Vehicles in accordance with company procedures
Diagnose faults by road testing and running diagnostic software
Keep up to date with environmental and technical developments
Ensure appropriate documentation and records are maintained.
