Senior Mechanical Engineer

My client requires a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for work on their Glasgow Site.
Your role will be the Technical lead role for mechanical section of the design department. Preparation of technical reports and presentations to customers Control of product development. Selection of major components. Supervision of performance & mechanical testing of blowers and Fault analysis & continual improvement of design.

The successful candidate will have the following;

Design experience & proven ability in:
· Rotating equipment design
· Shaft dynamics analysis
· Machining and casting manufacturing methods
· Design from first principals
Knowledge of assembly & testing of rotating equipment
