We are looking to recruit a Level 1 Statistician who will be responsible for providing statistical support across LifeScan.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day support for product testing teams
  • Analysis of test results
  • Trend analysis of test results 
  • Generation of reports as required
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Raise potential product performance issues with rest of team
  • Project team member as required
  • Analysis and preparation of reports with recommendations on product release

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree qualification in statistics / related qualification
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience of SPSS
  • Report writing
  • Mathematical modelling of complex systems
  • Ability to summarise and present data, calculate standard errors, confidence intervals and perform test of significance
  • Carry out regression analysis - including fitting and checking of both linear and non - linear regression models
  • Building ANOVA models (analysis of variance)
  • SPC analysis - including product monitoring, trend analysis and sampling methodologies
  • Develop, perform and analyse designed experiments (using for example full and fractional or taguchi designs)

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working in a large scale-manufacturing environment.
