We are looking to recruit a Level 1 Statistician who will be responsible for providing statistical support across LifeScan.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day support for product testing teams
- Analysis of test results
- Trend analysis of test results
- Generation of reports as required
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Raise potential product performance issues with rest of team
- Project team member as required
- Analysis and preparation of reports with recommendations on product release
Essential Criteria:
- Degree qualification in statistics / related qualification
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience of SPSS
- Report writing
- Mathematical modelling of complex systems
- Ability to summarise and present data, calculate standard errors, confidence intervals and perform test of significance
- Carry out regression analysis - including fitting and checking of both linear and non - linear regression models
- Building ANOVA models (analysis of variance)
- SPC analysis - including product monitoring, trend analysis and sampling methodologies
- Develop, perform and analyse designed experiments (using for example full and fractional or taguchi designs)
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a large scale-manufacturing environment.
