Our client, a UK based international Transport Company, is looking for a Fuel Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible to: Fuel Commodity Manager

Scope of Team
Order planning & delivery scheduling

Financial reconciliation - Hedging
Financial reconciliation - Fuel Distributors

Main Purpose
To ensure continuity of fuel supply is maintained.
To implement best practice in supply chain and inventory management
Management of the requisition to payment-to-payment process
Integrity and accuracy of financial data
To ensure compliance with Group contracts, procedures and processes
To deliver a strong customer focus and quality service as part of the Purchasing team
Liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure their prime requirements are captured and delivered

Core Responsibilities
Management and planning of fuel delivery schedules
Ensuring that daily fuel stocks are captured and recorded
Measurement of supplier delivery performance
Involvement and input in developing systems and process to effectively manage fuel stocks and deliveries
Identification of process improvements and cost reductions
Capture and maintenance of standing and variable data
Standardisation of processes
Ensuring R2P (requisition-to-payment) compliance
Adherence to defined stock holding policy
Resolution of supplier/internal process issues
Development of inventory of fuel facilities across UK
Maintenance of master data
Collection of oil market data
Reconciliation of financial data - hedge v market price
Reconciliation and settlement of fixed purchase price v market price
Progression of personal development and training needs
