Temporary Finance Assistant (4 months)Edinburgh   £9.00 - £10.15 per hour + Holiday Pay

The Company

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are still looking a Temporary Finance Assistant to work for an Edinburgh based Property Firm. They have a void in their accounts team at the moment and need a temporary worker to plug the gap during year end. They will then look to recruit on a permanent basis and the successful candidate is welcome to apply for this position if successful in the temporary role.

My client is located in the heart of Edinburgh and is ideally situated for those looking to work in the City Centre.

The Role

As Finance Assistant, you will be required to:

- Process and analyse around 100 invoices per week
- Handle any incoming invoice related queries
- Prepare fortnightly payment runs to suppliers
- Reconcile company records with supplier statements to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Carry out any other ad hoc finance related duties.

We are looking for someone who has worked in an accounts department before and can carry out any of the above duties. Attention to details and good communication skills are also important. As with most temporary jobs, the turnaround on this one will be quite swift. Therefore, we are looking for CVs as soon as possible. Interviews will take place early next week.

Salary & Benefits

£9 - £10.15 per hour plus holiday pay (dependent on experience)
