The Glasgow Housing Association Limited (GHA) took ownership of Glasgow's 82,000 council homes in March 2003. With an investment budget of £1.4 billion, GHA has an ambitious and radical regeneration programme which will transform the living conditions and opportunities for families and communities within Glasgow.
GHA is introducing new quality management systems in order to embed continuous improvement across the organisation and to ensure a consistently excellent service for our customers.
We are looking for experienced quality and performance professionals with the enthusiasm to be part of a brand new Quality Assurance team right from the beginning. This will give you the opportunity to shape your own role as the service evolves. - Up to 4 posts
We want all sections of the organisation to strive towards excellence and your role will be to work with staff and managers across GHA to identify areas of improvement and action plan how to make these happen. It's an exciting time to join GHA and you will be part of the team implementing the European Foundation for Quality Management's excellence model right across our organisation. Your ability to work in partnership and build trust with staff and managers will be crucial as will your ability to challenge constructively and promote a consistent approach to performance and processes. A key roll will be to find opportunities for improvement across GHA as you conduct in-house inspections and facilitated process reviews, helping to ready the organisation for our next external inspection, confident of our improved performance.
For these posts, experience of housing management is not essential though a clear understanding of quality assurance and a commitment to excellence is absolutely critical.
