It’s an exciting time to join the Student Loans Company. With more than 1,200 employees serving around 3 million customers, we are the UK's leading provider of student financial services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a cross functional role for the Student Loans Company, managing decisions that will affect all aspects of the business. From technological, reengineering and structural aspects to political processes, you will be at the forefront of our development.
This challenge demands a multi-disciplinary approach, producing a consolidated project plan, treating each ‘business case’ as a living document and reviewing it at key stages in the project lifecycle. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to manage and interact with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Change Management, you will inform customers of approaching service transformations. Whilst maintaining control of supplier departments, you will deliver quality outputs to timetable and within the potential budget of £400,000.
Determined to succeed, you have previously worked in a multi-disciplinary management environment, delivering projects for public or private sector organisations. From these experiences you have gained a strong commercial mind, strengthened by your skills in budgeting and utilisation of IT support. You are a graduate, ideally with formal training in business management and/or IT and you possess a Prince 2 qualification or equivalent. Your business acumen and passion lends you the skills required for careful management of risk and opportunity and you are able to deliver a quality project output from beginning to completion.
When you join the Student Loans Company, a commitment to your personal development and work-life balance comes as standard. Working in modern and professional surroundings, you will enjoy generous holidays and a final salary pension scheme.
