City Centre client requires a Deputy Finance Team Leader to take responsibility for a receipts and payments team to ensure all receipts and payments are processed accurately and on time.

THE ROLE

You will supervise three staff members (allocate their work, set objectives and development opportunities etc). You will review income and expenditure, checking and authorising payments, requests for funds, daily cash, the general ledger journals and monitor inter-bank transfers and bank accounts. You will check and authorise three monthly payrolls and ensure expenses are paid. You will also get involved in other finance projects e.g. a new debt recovery systems and internet banking systems etc.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You will have previous supervisory experience, excellent accounting skills and good working knowledge of Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must have good judgement and initiative. Knowledge of Oracle desirable.
