Our client makes over 38,000 deliveries to over 35,000 outlets every week and is UK’s largest wholesale distributor of Confectionery, , Snacks, Groceries and Chilled and Frozen Food. An opportunity has arisen to join their successful Field Sales Team covering the North of Scotland.

THE JOB

You will be responsible for the delivery of targeted sales turnover and gross profit across the whole range of products and services, for a defined territory of independent retailers.  You will develop a proactive and positive relationship by promoting how our client’s service and product offerings can help them build a successful business  

You will advise independent retailers on effective store merchandising, promotional / seasonal display, planograms and product ranging.  You will also identify potential Franchisee outlets and target new business development opportunities, with the aim of opening new retail accounts.

ABOUT YOU

You will have a strong sales background, and ideally have sold to independent retailers in the past. You will be an excellent communicator, have good relationship building skills and be able to plan and organise your work load.  The ability to analyse data and plan effective strategies to achieve set targets & goals is essential.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must have a flexible attitude to working hours and hold a current driving licence.
