Our client is a leading brand, with operations across the globe. As a result of significant growth they now need to add an ambitious Accountant to their Controls Assurance & Risk Management department.

Reporting to the business unit leader your role shall be focused on capitalising on internal knowledge and expertise to manage and deliver the various phases of the process, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley s404. This role covers various business units in Scotland but does have global visibility, and as such you shall be expected to deal with senior management across the organisation to explain the process and come to agreement on the necessary procedures and controls.

It is expected that you shall have gained experience within the following areas (ideally in a large corporate business); internal/external audit, risk management, project management, supporting/training non financial personnel on risk principles, and have a demonstrable record of relationship building. It would be preferable that you have or be in the process of attaining a professional accountancy qualification.
