As its a new role, this role represents defined career progression and the chance to mould and mentor a growing billing team.

Duties are as follows:

- Deal with all aspects of the billing process within appointed timeframes whilst ensuring accuracy is maintained at all times
- Oversee the activities of all billers and ensure that there is sufficient resource to meet the requirements of every department providing direct billing support when and where necessary
- Arrange suitable training for all new billers
- Ensure allocation of fees to the appropriate fee earner within the Elite Billing System
- Reviewing and adjusting judicial accounts
- Provide ongoing support to fee earners and track progress of bills to ensure all are progressing
- Provide assistance to fee earners as and when required with complicated bills including the reconciliation of client accounts
- Provision of progress updates to Finance Director on a monthly basis.
- Contribute ideas as to how WIP can be reduced and billing managed at an even pace throughout the year avoiding major period end peaks.
- Oversee the dealing with queries from fee earners, Law Accountants and other external bodies professionally and proactively

Salary for the role will be upwards of £30k plus benefits for the right candidate.
