My client is a charity based organisation located in Edinburgh and they currently have a requirement for an office administrator to join them.

The role is extremely busy and varied and and would suit someone who has excellent organisational skills along with a pro-active and professional attitude.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Operating switchboard
  • Reception duties - meeting visitors, booking meeting rooms etc
  • Process mail
  • Liaising with office suppliers / contractors
  • Monitor supplies of stationary etc
  • Arrange travel & accommodation for senior staff
  • Assisting with updating the intranet
  • Assisting with organisation of events & marketing
  • Copy & audio typing of correspondence, reports & confidential documents
  • Producing power point presentations
  • General office admin ie, filing, photocopying & faxing
  • Taking minutes at meeting

It's essential that you have previous administration experience skills.  It's highly desireable that you will have experience of managing office supplies, negotiating prices, creation & updating of databases and minute taking.
