Interpreting the requirements of Ship Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs), Atomic Books (ABs) and other RPSJ documentation.
Extracting information from Books of Reference (BRs) and rewriting as Nuclear Procedures in a manner that can be easily understood.
Production of the Nuclear Logic for sequencing control of nuclear work and liaison with the maintenance period planners to ensure compatibility between the logic and maintenance plan.
Liaison with Submarine Engineers to discuss the requirements for nuclear documentation.
Provide support at Procedure Authorisation Group (PAG) meetings as secretary to record decisions and agreed procedural changes.
Education & Qualifications
Essential
Good understanding of the operation, maintenance and repair of the submarine Nuclear Reactor Plant. Previous experience as a qualified Category A2 or Category B Watchkeeper.
or
NWSC and appropriate experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of submarine nuclear plant. An HNC/ONC/BTEC or equivalent in an appropriate engineering subject.
Salary
Salary - £18,154 - £28,314
Pension - 1.5% employee contribution to the Final Salary Scheme Pension
Life Ass - 2.5 salary
Holidays - 35.5 (25 annual + 10.5 days plus public holidays)
