Reporting & Data AnalystLivingston   £35000 per annum + plus benefits

Leading multi-national, blue chip organisation is currently seeking a Data and Reporting Specialist for their West Lothian hub. Within this challenging, newly created role, you will take responsibility for analysis of data, the accuracy of reporting streams and be accountable for the quality of information flow within your given area. You will to provide analysis of customer/supplier activity and behaviour, to identify behavioural trends as well as system and process weaknesses and improvements. This is a pivotal role and your input will be key to organisational development and change.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analysing performance, trends and behaviours of key financial processes
• Designing and producing Key Performance Indicator's (‘KPI's) reporting pack
• Identifying areas of improvement and cost reduction in process or internal controls
• Acting as a business expert and department representative on projects
• Evaluating the cost & benefit of planned projects, ensuring it is adding value
• Maintaining a detailed understanding of finance systems and processes

In order to qualify for this role, you will have:

• Strong proven experience of reporting/data analysis, ideally within a financial background
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills
• The ability to work on your own initiative
• Excellent presentation skills and process interpretation skills
