Glasgow – Alcohol Rehabilitation Service

Turning Point Scotland is a national social care organisation providing help and support to people across Scotland.

We offer a person-centred approach to support and treatment. We work with people with learning disabilities, homeless people, those living with substance misuse, as well as those with Huntington’s disease and mental health issues.

Whoever we support, whatever their circumstances and needs, we recognise the individual and work with them to realise their full potential.

Turning Point Scotland’s new “Glasgow Alcohol Rehabilitation Service”, developed with Glasgow Addiction Services and the Homelessness Partnership is for adults with homelessness and alcohol issues.  This longer-term residential service will promote an abstinence based model, a structured therapeutic programme providing support from detoxification through to developing independence.

We need a flexible person to carry out a regular cleaning programme to the highest  standards. Working with minimal supervision, you’ll maintain cleaning equipment, report any faults or incidents and ensure strict Health and Safety guidelines are met. So if you like using your initiative and share our passion for high standards, this could be the job for you!

We’ll expect you to have previous cleaning experience and a good knowledge of Health and Safety issues, COSHH and hazard/infection control.

We offer competitive rates of pay and attractive benefits including a final salary pension scheme, minimum 25 days’ annual leave, 10 days’ statutory holidays, flexible working hours and a family-friendly policy.

All opinions and ideas are valued. We have a dedicated staff representative council and encourage our people to make their views heard and participate in team meetings.
