Eden’s Scott’s client is a highly successful banking organisation based in the heart of Edinburgh. A rare opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer/Manager to design and implement compliance procedures, before the opening of their UK branch. This is a fantastic role if you would like to be involved from start up and have a direct impact into how the role and function develops. The role will also allow you to broaden your experience and get involved with other areas of the business you will not have had the opportunity to do before, whilst providing advice and guidance to the Senior Manager.
You will be providing advice and guidance to the Senior Manager. You will be fully supported in any necessary further study, along with an excellent basic of 27-33K plus pension 15%, private medical insurance, gym membership and a car parking space in central Edinburgh.
Ideally you will have experience gained from a compliance function in financial services and a strong understanding of compliance issues and FSA rules.
Knowledge of Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and money laundering regulations, data protection etc and a willingness to study towards a formal relevant qualification (if required by management), is also desired.
