This is a challenging role in a forward thinking and very high profile investments firm providing technical and regulatory risk advice and training on emerging regulations and risks, particularly in relation to complex products and derivatives. You will join a well qualified, specialist team and be able to demonstrate knowledge of complex products and derivatives gained from working in a similar compliance or risk role in investments or as a fund manager.
You will have a broad understanding of UK and overseas regulations and be able to interprate regulations impacting on investment operations, and communicate this to relevant parties throughout the business. Helping to develop and maintain a culture that is risk and compliance aware will also be a key challenge in this role. You will represent the team on relevant Committees and product groups providing guidance on issues and strategies, in respect of complex products and derivatives.
You will be expected to keep abreast of current and emerging risk and regulatory trends and be able to influence at a senior level throughout the business and foster strong relationships with colleagues and senior management.
