We are currently recruiting for a large transport company with offices all over Europe and the UK. Due to growth, out client requires the services of an experienced and well connected business development executive.
The role
- working in a office based environment
- targeting companies on a daily basis to secure sales
- using own contacts to widen the companies portfolio
- servicing existing clients and maximising current contracts
- liaise with clients all over Europe
The person
- must have extensive working knowledge of the transport or logistics workplace.
- Excellent sales and interfacing skills
- varied and loyal contacts bank
- ability to work on own initiative
- good understanding of the European transport market
Details
- candidate must have a full UK driving Licence
- be well connected in the transport industry
- a German speaking candidate would be a bonus as allot of the business is currently in Germany
- our client would also consider a candidate from a long distance driving background in Europe with a desire to sell and continue within the transport industry.
