Your role will be to provide administrative support for the Learning and Programmes department, including dealing with educational enquiries, the organisation of meetings and budget management assistance.  You will be responsible for managing the group bookings system across National Museums of Scotland and will facilitate school and educational group bookings as required.

You will have three Highers (or equivalent) and relevant administrative experience.  You must be able to demonstrate an in-depth working knowledge of an electronic booking system.  Strong administrative skills are essential, including the ability to process and report statistical information.

This is a fixed term appointment commencing immediately to provide support during the maternity leave of the substantive postholder which is expected to last until March 2009.

Closing date for completed applications is Wednesday 3 September 2008.  The selection event is likely to be held on or around w/c 15 September 2008.
