My client, a multi-national, dynamic organisation, are opening a new base in Glasgow and have an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or a qualified by experience accountant.
The main duties of the role will include:
- Preparing bank reconciliations
- Analysing sales/purchase orders
- Calculating year-end creditor/debtor balances
- Posting year-end balances to the computer system
- Preparing control accounts
- Maintaining fixed asset register
It is essential that the right candidate has knowledge of accounts preparation and tax computations up to the final review stage. The right person will preferably also have experience in preparing payroll and VAT returns and come from a practice background.
Knowledge of Excel, Sage and Iris essential as well as a good general level of computer literacy.
