Bruce Murray Recruitment are looking for an Accreditation Manager on behalf of our successful international client..  The successful candidate will work as part of a team who manages all aspects of relationships with educational partners, tuition providers and stakeholders.  You will liaise and develop relationships with Universities, Colleges and other Higher Education providers as well as develop joint schemes with other professional bodies and governmental departments. 

You will manage a small, specialist team responsible for policy development and qualifications, also you will be accountable for all operations and projects within the team, ensuring work is assigned appropriately and carried out effectively to meet deadlines and departmental objectives.

 Main duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a small assessment team, prioritising workload and workflow in order to meet all objectives.
  • Manage applications from academic institutions and professional bodies.
  • Manage introduction and development of exemption programme.
  • Provide advice and training on policy to a range of stakeholders.
  • Lead a quality control group to monitor the performance of policies and identify internal training needs.
  • Support national offices in the accreditation of local programmes.
  • Support ongoing initiatives to streamline and innovate the exemption award process. 
  • Manage IT systems and online portal, including systems design, development and implementation.
  • Lead accreditation visits in the UK and internationally.
  • Manage a small team, setting objectives and reviewing performance.

Essential to the post are the following:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience of managing a small team within an educational environment.
  • Excellent project management skills.  
  • Be highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic, with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Well organised and methodical approach to work with strong analytical and IT skills.
  • Be able to deliver presentations and draft letters and detailed reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Show an awareness of the changing environment of training and education.
  • Keen awareness of customer service principles and ability to initiate and implement effective service procedures and solutions.

**Some domestic and overseas travel will be required in this role**
