Glasgow South East Regeneration Agency (GSERA) is a dynamic organisation dedicated to the regeneration of South East Glasgow with locations in Gorbals, Govanhill, East Pollokshields, Toryglen and Castlemilk.

We are seeking staff to complement the work of our Employability & Learning Team which works to provide people with skills and solutions that will help them get back to work. The main focus is on working with clients who find it harder to get work i.e. those aged over 50, people on Incapacity Benefit, Lone Parents and those from the BME community.

Staff for these posts should be experienced Money Advisors with a working knowledge of welfare benefits and the tax credit system, money advice and debt management options as well as financial capability, skills and knowledge.

The successful post holders will be required to have or to meet, within a reasonable time, the standards required for approval as a Money Advisor under the provisions of the Debt Arrangement and Attachment (Scotland) Act 2002 and its subsequent regulations.  Secondments will be considered.

These posts are funded by the European Social Fund.

*A pay and grading review is currently underway, as a consequence this salary may change.
