An exciting opportunity has just arisen to join a new transactional tax team at one of Scotland's leading legal firms. The department already staffs 20 across the corporate tax division and is expanding rapidly to hire experienced tax individuals from either a legal or accounting background.

Your role in transaction tax will be to advise owners and operators of market leading businesses on the cross-border, international and local tax implications of their mergers, acquisitions, asset sales and other transactions and it will be down to you to offer your clients creative and sophisticated tax planning solutions

The current tax team has substantial experience in structuring and implementing tax-oriented investment opportunities across corporate, construction and real estate based transactions such as; investments, sale-leasebacks, leveraged leasing and other ventures.

Ideally applications should be supported by previous advisory experience across a range of UK individual and corporate taxes, including VAT and SDLT.
