Electrical TechnicianAyrshire East   £29000

Our client  is a world leader in the design, engineering, manufacture and delivery of products, systems and services for high-technology industrial applications.They currently require an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team.

Major part of role is to  ensure all electrical documentation is correct and up to date. To support the electrical maintenance team in all PLC controls and instrumentation tasks.

Other duties will include:

• To ensure all electrical legislative documentation is up to date and available for audit
• Liaise with internal departments on any software/control changes and ensure all relevant changes are approved
• Interact with electricians on controls and instrumentation fault finding
• Ensure all electrical subcontractors work is carried out to a high standard
• Maintain a high level of safety and environmental awareness within the site

Applicants should have PLC experience along with good analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent Communications skills are a must along with at least 2 years Process Manufacturing experience with an HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Controls discipline or a recognised apprenticeship

This role will involve working on a rotational shift pattern of early, day, back and night shift, over Mon to Fri and 1 weekend on in every 4.
