Anderson Knights client, an established manufacturing company based in Glasgow are currently expanding and require an experienced Office Manager to take charge of the customer service and admin team.

The Office Manager is expected to:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of our office;
  • Provide organisational and administrative support for the Managing Director;
  • Produce monthly accounts, book-keeping and payroll using Sage software;
  • Organise trade shows and produce literature, mailshots and website updates.
  • Research the energy industry, particularly the UK and EU electricity markets;
  • Manage company HR to ensure legal compliance;
  • Conduct H&S audits and ensure legal compliance;
  • Manage our quality system towards ISO 9001 accreditation;

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Highly literate and a fast learner;
  • Self-motivated, organised and effective administrator with high attention to detail
  • Team player with excellent communication skills;
  • IT literate, competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point) and electronic communications.
